Rebecca Christian Smith is the founder and owner of the Law Office of Rebecca Christian Smith, P.C. The firm is dedicated to representing individuals and families who have been injured by the wrongdoing of others.

 

Ms. Smith has litigated personal injury cases in Georgia for the past 14 years. Upon graduating from Emory University School of law, Ms. Smith gained an understanding of litigation and trials when she clerked for the Honorable Melvin K. Westmoreland, in both the State and Superior Courts of Fulton County. Ms. Smith spent the subsequent 10 years working as a litigator for two metro area litigation firms.

 

Ms. Smith now devotes her time, energy and efforts to representing those who have been injured. The firm’s practice areas include automobile collisions, premises liability (including but not limited to slip and fall, inadequate security and hotel and apartment liability), pedestrian accidents, medical malpractice and wrongful death claims.

 

Ms. Smith is admitted to the State and Superior Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District, the United States District Court for the Middle District and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

 

In addition to her personal injury practice, Ms. Smith serves as volunteer counsel for Atlanta Legal Aid’s Relative/Caregiver Adoption Program. She also served as a Guardian Ad Litem for Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and the Truancy Intervention Project.

 

Ms. Smith is married to Bryan Smith. Bryan is a dentist with offices in the metro area. They have a 7 year old son, Christian. Ms. Smith is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and currently serves as the church Chancellor and Sunday School teacher.
